Abstract
To elucidate the mechanism of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) initiation and propagation, an Ultra-micro Tensile test system for Crack Tip (UTCT) was developed to observe and analyze SCC crack tips with a scanning transmission electron microscope (STEM) under tensile stress.
